love the self portrait. usually i don't like using pieces in museums to create a photograph but here i think you used the light and made it your own. it's beautiful. \\manda

you did a really good job and you know how to work with the colors. I love the first picture with the "shadow"of those two women...

How did you get the motion of the people in Grand Central? Was that a tripod shot? What shutter speed?

Good job playing around. I really liked the picture of the tripod and it's shadow. The shadow resembles the "Peace" logo and it is so tough to find "IT" (read peace or shadow) but you did!

Ugh my comment didn't save! Well, I'll write it again because I really want to tell you that these are beautiful. The first one is my favorite for sure. Did you merge a few photos together on photoshop, or was the light doing something great on its own? Either way, it takes skill and I love it.

i agree with amanda about hesitance toward taking pictures of other art, but i found myself taking pictures in the moma as well, and if you make it into something completely your own i think it can be successful. and yours are. my favorites are the ones where you used the colored lights to abstract an the image. you make me motivated to take better pictures, i like how you saw those lights and saw a cool picture you could make from that.

I absolutely love the colors. They are so beautiful that it is almost unreal. I think it is always interesting to take pictures of people at exhibitions or museum, because in a museum, almost everyone is a foreigner, a little awed, or overwhelmed, or detached from art, and there is this weird atmosphere I thought was funny.
